Work on the £3 million scheme at Tyndale House has been carried out by Sanctuary’s contractors Walker Construction Services Ltd and has included the re-modelling of 23 flats and the communal areas within the building. The project, which was completed in under a year, also included the replacement of bathrooms and kitchens in Sanctuary’s rented properties at Tyndale Close and The Walk nearby.
Many of the tenants who moved out of Tyndale House while the remodelling work was undertaken will shortly be moving back into their new homes, and will be able to enjoy their newly refurbished flats and the high quality finish throughout the shared lounge, soft seating areas and conservatories as well as in the hair salon, library and assisted bathroom which were also included as part of the project.
