This is a new seven storey, 5355 sqm building. Conditional planning permission for the building was granted by Sheffield City Council on 7 November, 2011 as the first stage in a 15 year plan to improve and extend the existing estate. Construction started in early 2012 and the building was completed and occupied in January, 2014.
The activities in the Pam Liversidge Building focus on collaborative, inter-disciplinary research groups and postgraduate learning, to accommodate planned growth and improve the student experience. The new facilities will attract the best in students and staff and, in turn, further enhance the reputation of the University.
