The masterplan for the Swansea Waterfront Innovation Quarter, and in particular to the south and west of the Prince of Wales Dock, will support a mixed use development comprising the University, commercial and serviced offices, research and development uses, restaurants, small scale retail, hotel and leisure facilities, residential accommodation and sports/recreation opportunities.
It has been designed to position UWTSD as the catalyst at the centre of renewed growth and prosperity, able to attract inward investment and encourage collaboration with commercial, enterprise, residential, and creative industry partners.
The University has been developing new, more efficient ways of delivering their academic strategies, culminated in a schedule of accommodation which incorporates a bespoke range of core, technical and flexible academic spaces totalling some 33,000m²
