Ballymore readily acknowledges that they tend to be ambitious in their ideas. From the very outset, their plan for the development of Snowhill in Birmingham were pushing the boundaries. Not only were they planning the largest commercial leasing outside of London for many years, they were aiming at the very top: to attract world class business tenants, they would need to meet the most demanding commercial requirements. Just for good measure, they also proposed build the tallest residential tower in Britain, outside of London. They achieved their ambitions: Phase 1 of the Snowhill development was up, running and fully occupied in just four years, and it helps to consolidate Birmingham’s cherished position as Britain’s second city.
