Sheraton Bailuhu Resort, Huizhou

With Huizhou’s natural setting in mind, the WATG design team created a romantic interplay between architecture and the lake front similar to that found in Italy’s Lake Como and Portofino. The design team reinterpreted the architectural forms in contemporary urban resort language such as a promenade, hard and soft landscape features, and a gentle man-made hill mimicking existing natural land forms.
