WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has been appointed to provide multidisciplinary engineering services to transform leading Sheffield shopping and leisure complex Meadowhall, as part of a £50 million interior design refurbishment.
Extensive phasing and sequencing of the works has been undertaken to ensure that when construction starts on site in the third quarter of 2015, customers will remain unaffected. The refurbishment is due to be completed by the end of 2017 on the UK’s fourth largest shopping centre, which comprises 310 shops, 50 restaurants and cafes and a multi-screen cinema.
