The new homes include a mix of two, three and four bedroom houses for affordable rent and have been built by Sanctuary’s contractor Galliford Try on the site of the former dairy in Caldmore. The site had been derelict for 15 years before construction started last summer.
Sanctuary’s partners at Walsall Council took part in a ground-breaking ceremony last July at the Midland Road site, and returned just before Easter to see the newly completed homes and meet some of the residents who have just moved in.
