Stafford Street development in Market Drayton, a project promising to completely transform the town centre site.
Working closely with Shropshire Council and construction specialist Seddon, the leading housing and care provider is developing the site in Stafford Street to create 18 affordable new homes.
The buildings on the site, located right in the heart of historic Market Drayton, have stood derelict for many years but have now been demolished ready for work to begin. The £2million project, which includes investment from the Homes and Communities Agency, will comprise 15 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments. Sixteen of these will be completely new homes while two will be refurbished properties, with frontages on to Stafford Street. All will be made available on an affordable rental basis.
