Construction of a new annexe to Haven House is now underway, which will mean improved services and support for local life-limited children and their families.
Thanks to a grant of £464,000 from Department of Health (DoH) and following planning approval from Waltham Forest Council, the hospice has been able to start work on an annexe to its current building; the historic White House in Mallinson Park.
The building will create additional space, and will enable Haven House to provide a broader range of services to those who currently use the hospice, as well as allowing support for increased numbers of local life-limited and life-threatened children.
