City University London’s capital works framework sees ISG undertake a complete strip out of the building’s ground and lower ground floors to shell and core. The accommodation will then be extensively remodelled and reconfigured to create contemporary teaching space and a new student union, as well as a re-designed reception area and back of house facilities. Major structural alterations include the demolition of internal masonry walls to open out the existing space, with the work carried out while the building’s upper floors remain in occupation.
