Ambleside campus is currently being redeveloped, creating a fantastic learning environment for around 370 undergraduate and postgraduate students in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
Most of the buildings on the site were mothballed in 2010, but plans were drawn up in 2012 to develop the campus and the first phase is due for completion in 2014.
A wide variety of subjects will be taught at the renewed Ambleside campus, including forestry, outdoors, some business courses and more.
The Ambleside campus is home to the University of Cumbria’s Institute for Leadership and Sustainability (IFLAS) and its new Rural Growth Hub.
