ANWYL Homes has acquired a new parcel of land for 46 homes in Holyhead as the housebuilder looks to build on its success in the town.
The new site marks the second phase of Anwyl’s Tyddyn Bach development, off South Stack Road, which has already proved hugely popular with local buyers.
In fact, 85% of homes have been sold to people who already live on the island or close by, many of them first-time homeowners.
Work is now underway on the newly acquired four-acre site, which will see an additional 42 homes built for private sale at the location plus four affordable properties for social rent. Ewloe-based Anwyl Homes will also contribute £60,000 towards affordable housing locally.
The new phase of Tyddyn Bach is now on sale and the first homes should be ready to move into in May / June 2021. Anwyl will also be introducing some brand new house designs to the location.
Phil Dolan, Anwyl’s managing director in North Wales, said: “We’re excited to start work on a new wave of homes at Tyddyn Bach. Our first phase of 124 homes continues to meet with strong demand from Anglesey homebuyers keen to put down roots in such a well-connected location and close to some of the island’s most scenic beaches.
“Our sales office remains open for business at Tyddyn Bach, where we have a thoughtfully designed range of three and four-bedroom homes currently on sale. We have worked very hard to put every measure in place to keep both our staff and customers safe during the Covid pandemic. We can also arrange virtual viewings for those who can’t visit the sales office and can provide everything our customers need should they wish to complete their reservation online. While we are embracing technology during these times we pride ourselves on maintaining our personal approach.”
Located on the main road between Llaingoch and Holyhead – near to the iconic Southstack lighthouse and only three miles from the picturesque Trearddur Bay, Tyddyn Bach provides easy access to the A55, The Port of Holyhead and Holyhead train station.
It is also conveniently located for all the amenities of Holyhead, including the £10million ‘super school’ Ysgol Cybi which opened three years ago.
