Verta column casings – cover up with style

The demands of architects and specifiers seeking to create stylish finishes on a diverse range of building interior and exterior projects are the main drivers behind the versatility and extensive choice available within the Encasement Verta column casing range.

A key benefit is the design freedom offered the range of materials available to meet different specifications and applications. From Circa and Quadra pre-formed MDF and ply casings, through to Polyma GRP, Gypra GRG and the Forma metal range, each allows an array of specification options to be accommodated, including shapes, sizes and finishes.

Available in aluminium or stainless steel, Forma casings can be specified in circular, square, rectangular or hexagonal forms, as well as unique custom profiles. The wide choice of finishes includes PPC coatings in BS and RAL colours, plus brushed, anodised, embossed and textured options.

Durability and colour choice are also features of Polyma GRP moulded casings. This method of production allows a high degree of design versatility with shape; size and colour options all open to specification to meet bespoke project requirements, as well as standard profile options.

Projects, such as Lime Wood Primary School in Erith, and Extra Care Housing in Boston, Lincs, together with Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre and Premier Inn, demonstrate the versatility of Forma and Polyma bespoke column casings in both exterior and interior applications.

As Circa and Quadra casings are manufactured from pre-formed MDF and plywood respectively, using UKTR compliant and sustainably sourced timbers, they are designed purely for interior use.

Like other casings in the range, a wide choice of finish options is available, with decorative high-pressure laminate (HPL) being the most popular for both Circa and Quadra.

Verta casings are used extensively on a broad range of projects within various sectors, including retail, education and healthcare, as well as hotel, sport & leisure, commercial refurbishment and building re-purposing.

To support the range, a supply and install service is also offered by Encasement, which enables the company to maintain complete control over the installation while also providing dedicated solutions to meet the specifications and requirements of any column casing project.
