University campus gets a facelift

The merger of two educational institutions involved an extensive building project with conversions of existing buildings and the construction of a new one.

The newly constructed ‘Building B’ is clad with approximately 1,800 m2 of perforated corten, manufactured and supplied by RMIG. The new building with its eye-catching facade gives the university an architectural identity and visibility in the streetscape and at the same time provide shade from the sun. The raw surface of the corten steel facade fits in well with the raw and edgy part of the city where the university is located.
