Sparrow Farm Drive completion brings boost to affordable housing & community space in Hounslow
A key regeneration project to increase the number of affordable homes and community space in London Borough Hounslow has been completed.
Sparrow Farm Drive in Feltham comprises of socially rented family homes for local people.
At the centre of the project is a large new communal garden. With this in mind we were contacted by United Living to supply a number of stainless steel benches giving the residents somewhere comfy to congregate. This was a crucial part of the development as a key ambition was to help create a sense of community and emphasise healthy environmentally-friendly living.
Given this opportunity we took the time to redesign our most cost effective seat the Baseline BL003, changing the design to keep material costs down but maintaining its contemporary look and robust nature. The new BL003 seat in 316 stainless steel offers fantastic value along with great longevity. This product will become a staple in the Baseline Street furniture range.
