Skanska invests EUR 47M, about SEK 480M, in a new building in the office complex Centrum Południe in Wroclaw, Poland. The 13-storey office building will have a total leasable area of around 21,500 square meters and will offer 200 underground parking places
The building is located in the new business district of the city and is expected to receive several certifications awarded to futureproof, safe and top-quality office spaces supporting people’s health and wellbeing as well as climate targets; LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell, WELL Health & Safety Rating and Building without Barriers. The project includes a public space for relaxation, walks and meetings. It is the first office complex in Wroclaw where anti-smog pavement made of green concrete is used.
Construction will start in September 2021 and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Centrum Południe is Skanska’s 7th development in Wroclaw. It will have a total usable space of about 85,000 square meters. The first phase, which consists of two buildings with a total leasable area of 28,100 square meters, is more than 60 per cent leased.
