SevenHomes, the housebuilding arm of leading UK property investment and development company SevenCapital, has acquired a 5.45 Acre piece of land in Cheltenham for £25 million.
Located off Old Gloucester Road, to the North West of Cheltenham, the site, named Cheltenham Meadows, will be developed to create a community of 86 new homes. The new homes will comprise a range of two-, three- , four- and five- bedroom houses in semi-detached, townhouse and detached styles designed to suit everyone from first time buyers to large families.
All homes will be provided with allocated parking or garages and will benefit from green surroundings including mature trees and hedgerows, attractive views of the surrounding fields and direct access to rural walks.
As part of the acquisition deal, SevenHomes will also contribute £261,635 to help fund primary education in the area, plus a further £17,640 contribution to local library services.
Jonathan Richards, development director for SevenHomes, said: “Cheltenham is a fantastic location, renowned for its racecourse, Regency charm and numerous schools rated outstanding by OFSTED. This makes it highly popular with families, the result of which is a high demand for family homes.
“We’re looking forward to getting to work on plans to build a brand-new community of affordable luxury homes to the area.”
