REVEALED: The Dulux Colour of the Year 2024

For 21 years, Dulux has been keeping the world of design on tenterhooks with the reveal of its highly anticipated Colour of the Year. Always on-trend yet practical, Dulux colour experts and international design professionals delve into the global mood to pick a colour that represents collective feeling and desires. This year – derived from a universal need for simplicity, meaning and a sense of belonging – Dulux is proud to announce that the 2024 Colour of the Year is Sweet Embrace™. The delicate pale pink is a calming standalone colour, but also works beautifully alongside the hues in the three complementing Dulux Colour Futures™ palettes.

Peace of mind for all – including housing providers

Housing providers can find colour inspiration for every room of the home from the Dulux Colour Futures™ palettes: Warm, Calm and Uplifting. For example:

  • Warm Palette: a compilation of global earth tones, such as natural shades of sand, soil and terracotta, to help occupants feel snug and find comfort – perfect for living and dining rooms
  • Calm Palette: ideal for quiet spaces, these fluid greens and blues offer occupants a touch of serenity, working beautifully in bathrooms. They can also be used to encourage focus in home offices
  • Uplifting Palette: a mix of modern yellows and lilacs to inspire positivity in productive spaces, giving a boost of energy in dressing rooms and providing a joyful entrance to houses when used in hallways
