Meadfleet’s Ecology and Conservation Manager comments,

At Meadfleet we are committed to doing everything we can to protect our planet, and by signing up to the One Planet Pledge we are signifying our desire to take action to change our business activities to become more environmentally responsible.

We will be exploring opportunities to minimise carbon emissions from employee travel, for example to investigate how we can make journeys more efficient, or use more sustainable forms of transport. We will also look at our supply chain, to examine if we employ suppliers of resources and services who also operate sustainably, and if the products we purchase meet with the highest environmental standards.

Now we have made this commitment we look forward to the challenge of making changes to our business to become more sustainable.”
