Pendock’s Linea building linings and Radius column casings and have been combined as part of the extensive transformation and repurposing of a former HMRC tax office into Telford’s largest serviced office accommodation.
The fully refurbished and upgraded building, which provides more than 52,000 sq.ft of space for 50 offices, is using metal bulkheads and fascias from the Pendock Linea range alongside two metal column casings as integral elements within the building’s new main entrance canopy.
Bespoke manufactured from aluminium, the bulkheads and fascias provide a decorative and weatherproof finish, while the two Pendock Radius metal column casings are used to conceal structural steelwork that supports the pitched canopy. All metal components are finished with a slate grey polyester powder coating.
The same PPC finish is also used on the flat parapet cappings, also from Pendock’s Linea range, which are installed at the top of the building. Manufactured from 2mm thick aluminium to exact project dimensions, the parapet cappings provide a water-resistant barrier for the brickwork along the full length of the building’s perimeter wall.
To ensure the project ran smoothly and met the client’s exact specifications, Pendock carried out all the site surveys, manufacturing and installation through its specialist supply & install service, Pendock Contracts.
