The first new homes at an eagerly-awaiting development in Great Blakenham will be released for sale next month.
More than 150 people have already registered their interest in the collection of two, three and four bedroom homes being created by Persimmon Homes at Gipping Mill in the popular village.
Lucy Woodhall, Persimmon Homes Suffolk head of sales, said:
“We are thrilled that we will be able to offer the first properties in this picturesque village in February. The level of interest from prospective buyers has already shown us how much demand there is in this area, so we can’t wait to start helping local people into their new homes.”
The development of 130 properties includes a range of houses and apartments to suit first time buyers and downsizers as well as growing families.
Lucy added:
“This location, on Stowmarket Road, has plenty of local amenities and excellent schools within easy reach and is ideal for commuters, with the A14 nearby.
“Buyers reserving the first properties off-plan will have the pick of the plots and chance to tailor their new home with a wide range of Finishing Touches options, such as a choice of kitchen colours and finishes, bathroom tiling or fitted wardrobes.
“We are also able to offer the Government’s Help to Buy scheme here, meaning buyers only need a five per cent deposit to secure their dream home.”
