Decking manufacturer, Neaco, has launched a new range of aluminium plank systems which are made-to-measure for fast supply and installation, outstanding performance and full compliance with the latest Building Regulations.
The company has developed two profiles, Neatlok and Neatwalk, designed to replicate the aesthetic of traditional timber decking with the option of durable coating in any desired RAL colour or one of Neaco’s standard finishes. Neatlok is a closed, interlocking plank that provides privacy and directional drainage. Neatwalk planks are laid with 5mm gaps for a free-draining solution. Both are precision-engineered for slip resistance and categorised as Low Risk of Slip under testing.
Providing an A1 or A2 Fire Rating, the two systems are ideal for new build and refurbishment projects seeking ready-made compliance with the Building (Amendment) Regulations SI 2018/1230 which require non-combustible materials on balconies. They also utilise aluminium’s structural efficiency – light in weight yet high in load-bearing capacity – to provide superior spanning capability compared to other plank materials. Neatlok and Neatwalk are designed to enable contractors and construction teams to carry out quick and easy fitting on site, but Neaco is also able to supply its own team of installers when required.
Neaco manufactures all products within its purpose-built UK facility, which provides bespoke cutting and reduces lead-times. Panels are cut prior to coating to ensure an immaculate and durable finish. Neaco also manufactures an innovative range of modular aluminium decking systems, providing market-leading spanning capabilities, outstanding slip resistance and fast, efficient drainage options which have been specified by architects and contractors. All modular decking and plank systems can be specified as stand-alone flooring/walkway solutions or as part of a complete balcony solution manufactured by Neaco.
Neaco’s wide range of architectural products also includes solar shading, industrial flooring, stainless steel balustrade, aluminium balustrade and adaptive bathing facilities including level-access showers, half-height shower enclosures, shower seats, support rails, grab rails and accessories.
