Commodore Kitchens has changed its name to Commodore Design and revealed a fresh new look. The new visual identity, which includes the strapline ‘bespoke as standard’, aims to more accurately position the growing business as it seeks to strengthen its reputation for design-led services and expand its product range.
Recent additions to the company’s offer include ‘Elysium’, a bespoke selection of bedroom and lounge furniture that can be designed in any colour or style to match the company’s kitchen finishes, and ‘Republic,’ which has been launched to meet the needs of housing associations and the private rental market, comprising cabinets in a variety of finishes with complementary worktop and accessory options.
Both sit alongside Commodore Design’s ‘Artisan’ kitchen range, which is manufactured inhouse and available in a limitless range of sizes, materials and finishes.

“Commodore is already a well-established name in our industry, but we’re a business that’s expanding fast, so we wanted to refine our brand identity to reflect that. Our aim is to increase awareness of how we can help our clients sell properties faster whether that’s a single home, large-scale residential development or luxury apartments in a high-rise tower.
“What sets us apart is our ability to design bespoke kitchens but still manufacture within normal timescales, with our customers able to alter dimensions, materials, finishes and styles to suit their ideas, customers’ aspirations or the latest trends.
“As a design-led company, our offering also includes expert insights into consumer behaviour as well as customer profiling tools ensuring kitchens are tailored to meet the individual needs of end users and our clients stay one step ahead of the competition.”
Established nearly 50 years ago, Commodore Design was acquired by Nobia, Europe’s leading kitchen specialist, in 2015. It is run by a growing team, which has been bolstered by several new recruits within the last six months.
