Inspectas Property Compliance has introduced a new team to oversee the management of action plans for asbestos management and removal, fire risk, water risk and health & safety management.
Created to help clients prioritise, budget and procure a solution, the dedicated project team specialises in creating and managing the action plan, galvanising suppliers and sticking to time frames while ensuring all objectives are met.
Inspectas Director Craig Candlish says: “Our new Inspectas project team focuses on expanding the findings unearthed by client surveys, meeting regulatory requirements, managing risk, and ensuring the smooth repair, remediation and management of our clients’ properties throughout their lifecycle.
“Having a dedicated project team means actions are managed, timings are transparent and all corners of our supply chain can be efficiently deployed. This compliance planning and management ensures the success and longevity of the property, as well as its adherence to legal, environmental, and safety standards.”
Headed by Kristian Bailey as Projects Lead with experienced Projects Manager Mark Holden and Steve Clare who joins the team in January, the Inspectas project team ensures essential and seamless handling of compliance obligations to ensure customer properties meet the required standards.
Kristian says: “We have specialists in all compliance areas alongside a robust and competitive supply chain that we can draw on. Our experience means we are able to flex our service to small and large projects and apply sensible rationale to finding the right solutions. Our dedicated team oversees all remedial work, ensuring it is planned and carried out in a safe manner, while providing independence and sign off for the works undertaken.”
In addition, the new Inspectas project team will:
- Expand a survey’s findings into specifications or scope of works
- Provide budget costs
- Recommend a suitable course of action
- Obtain competitive quotations
- Project manage works from inception to completion
Inspectas specialises in making and keeping properties safe. It was formed in 2013 by asbestos management professionals Craig Candlish and Matthew Fahy who combined their decades of expertise to launch a compliance business which covers all major occupational management specialisms including asbestos management and removal, health and safety, CDM and fire safety.
Kristian added: “In establishing the Inspectas property compliance project team, we are ensuring our customers benefit from strategic planning, the deployment of a multidisciplinary team of specialists who are appropriate for the works required and all alongside clear communication and accountability at all times.
“By assembling and establishing this robust framework for compliance, our clients can ensure that under our guidance, a compliance project not only meets regulatory requirements on time and within budget, but also creates a safe, sustainable, and legally sound property environment for the future.”
