GRAHAM has been appointed through the ProCure22 (P22) framework to deliver a major tranche of work at Whittington Hospital, London, for Whittington Health NHS Trust.
GRAHAM was selected to undertake the works following a thorough procurement exercise to develop a new extension for maternity and neonatal services, fire remediation, and infrastructure upgrade works, which will be delivered within the constraints of a busy live hospital environment.
The works form part of Whittington Health NHS Trust’s Estates Strategy, which identifies a range of investment plans and opportunities to provide excellent clinical facilities and improve their estates infrastructure.
The project win follows the company’s recent appointment to undertake phase two of works at the West Cumberland Hospital (WCH) in Whitehaven for North Cumbria, which was also awarded to GRAHAM through the P22 framework.
Rob Joyce, development director at GRAHAM, said:
“Upgrading the hospital will deliver much needed resources and set the bar for state-of-the-art healthcare services locally. Our appointment extends our track record of success in the healthcare sector, where we’re known for delivering high-quality facilities in supportive environments that cater to the needs of patients and staff alike.”
Elizabeth Smith, strategic health lead at GRAHAM said:
“GRAHAM with our supply chain partners; Ryder, Perega, Currie & Brown Relabond and RPS are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the staff at Whittington Hospital to develop the environment for staff and patients.”
Completion is expected in 2028.
