Global design practice Scott Brownrigg have announced they will operate in the US and South and Central America under the newly created entity, SB+C Architecture, D.P.C. . The move formalises the strategic partnership between Scott Brownrigg and US based Crown Architecture and Consulting, D.P.C
Within the Metro NYC market, land costs, burdening government regulations, and complicated zoning are starting to restrict development opportunities and tighten profit margins. SB+C Architecture, D.P.C. will provide US developers with highly attractive integrated design services that will fast track the development and renovation cycle. Combining Crown’s vast local knowledge of zoning, code compliance and expediting with the multi-sector design skills, robust history and infrastructure of the top100 global award-winning architectural practice that is Scott Brownrigg.
Target markets for SB+C Architecture, D.P.C. include Residential and Commercial Developments and Smart City Thinking for Industrial and Last Mile Hub projects, utilising innovative solutions and cutting edge leading research that includes Scott Brownrigg’s advanced technology Smart Shed, the flexLAB and the Adaptable Base Build Concept. With this strategic move building upon the recent acquisition of a legacy Transport and Infrastructure architectural practices and the growth of a global Masterplanning and Urbanism team, we are actively pursuing large scale government and public private partnership RFPs.
In response to One NYC 2050, we have specifically built out strategic and economical solutions for buildings over 25,000 sq ft. ensuring they comply with NYC’s Green New Deal (Local Law 97) to reduce total emissions, 40% by 2030 and 80% by 2050, with reporting beginning for 2014 emissions or buildings facing heavy financial penalties.
