Homes are increasingly becoming smart. Remote voice activated and phone app controlled heating and lighting or curtains and cookers are all becoming common place. The new Series 4 GaraMatic operators make it possible to have an automated garage door that you can control via your smartphone or smart home system. This means garage doors can now be remotely controlled from an Android or ios smartphone, or even through voice activated home hubs such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit or Google Home Hub.
For the new Series 4 GaraMatic Operators, Garador has included several innovative new features:
- New BlueSecur app, allows you to control open/ close, partial opening and operator lamp. It is available to download free for android and ios.
- Built in Bluetooth receivers to control the operator via your smartphone.
- HCP-bus connection to control the operator via your smart home system.
- Half open position for ventilation and a third open position activated when using climate sensor.
- Energy saving LED lighting helps to reduce energy bills and has uses less than one watt in stand-by mode.
- Automatic safety reversal system that recognises when there is an obstruction in the doorway and a mechanical locking system on the garage door to prevent forced entry.
The Bluetooth receiver and HCP-bus connection are only available for the GaraMatic 10 and 20 models.The new GaraMatic 9 in the series is not supplied with a Bluetooth receiver but one can be purchased as an option and fitted retrospectively.
It all comes together into a new generation of garage door operators fit for the modern age; with full control of the garage from the push of a button on a mobile to a quick voiced instruction as you sit in the lounge.There are a number of options in Garador’s new Series 4 GaraMatic Operators. For instance, the Bluetooth facility can be switched on or off. Different levels of lighting are available through the different models. Additional user keys for the BlueSecur app can be acquired through in-app purchases.
Handheld transmitters are also available and for Garador’s new Series 4 of GaraMatic operators, these come in a fresh streamlined design, micro sized and ultra-lightweight so that they sit easily in a pocket or on a keyring. Quick and easy to use, these four button handhelds transmit on 868MHz frequency through secure bi-directional radio technology.
