The new kid on the Berkshire block is Et Lorem, an impressive kitchen designer, retailer and installer already catering for developers, designers, architects and homeowners in Reading and further afield. And BLANCO is delighted to be the exclusive sink and tap specialist for this impressive organisation.
Jamie Harding, MD of Et Lorem, is no stranger to the brilliance of BLANCO as he has worked with the team for years in his previous company.
His move into setting up came over 12 months ago and the company is already enjoying success way beyond expectations as the timing was obviously challenging. A beautiful 4000 sq ft showroom in Reading, above the Beadle and Crome showroom, is underway and will be ready for festive footfall in December 2021 – so 2022 looks even more exciting for Et Lorem.
The team of six, with more faces planned, has many years of experience in the design and installation of “stunning spaces with precision detailing”.
Jamie explains, “Being independent means we are able to employ a design-led, personal approach on every project. In other words, we always put the client and the desired kitchen functionality first. Our solutions are always about what’s right for the client’s vision, with zero compromise. We therefore only work with partners who share these values and those who really do have the best products on the market today. Sustainability and the environment are key too; we do everything we can to limit our environmental impact and emissions.”
What does Jamie and his team love about BLANCO? We ask him!
Firstly, the products are brilliant and that’s why BLANCO is our exclusive supplier. And the ordering, delivery and invoicing processes are super-easy. There is never hassle which is so important now that we work more remotely and at speed!
We are seeing BLANCO’s Rock Grey and Black Silgranit® sinks grow hugely in popularity and are incorporating these into most of our new kitchens – in both developments and private dwellings. In turn, matt black taps are the most popular right now as the modern palette for a kitchen space is darker and more industrial than previous trends. The BLANCO Subline sink is probably right there at the top of aspirations for our customers and a favourite tap is the EVOL- S Volume which allows the user to measure exactly the amount of water they want to use. Fantastic and just right to be demonstrated in our new showroom.
The BLANCO UNIT concept of sink, tap and integrated organisation, all in one unit is perfect for our customers, in fact it’s perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle because it just makes kitchen life easier.
We have worked with Craig Condie and Richard Brabyn for a long time and our relationship with the whole team is based on trust and hassle-free operation! Everything is so simple, low maintenance and straightforward with BLANCO which is important to me as we are so incredibly busy. No hoops to be jumped!
