The first few homes at a housing development in West Thurrock are beginning to take shape.
Bellway is building a range of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes at Renovo, off West Thurrock Way.
As part of the planning agreement, the housebuilder will also be contributing £50,000 for new pedestrian crossings, £305,000 towards the hopper bus service and £200,000 to improve accessibility to the site.
House-hunters can also now visit the development and explore the showhomes, which have been recently opened.
Jenny Walker, Head of Sales for Bellway Essex, said:
“We are really pleased that building work at Renovo is progressing well and it has been fantastic to see so many people visit the development and showhomes.
“The new homes at Renovo have been carefully designed to suit all types of buyers, from those making their first steps onto the property ladder, through to growing families and downsizers.
“As well as transforming this former brownfield site into a new community, we are making significant contributions to the local area, ensuring that this development is a fantastic addition to Thurrock for many years to come.
“We have already received a great deal of interest on the new homes at Renovo, so we would encourage house-hunters to visit the development to avoid missing out.”
