AQUA architecture have been commissioned by Harnel Group to provide architectural design services for a brand-new residential development, Ruden Way, Reigate.
The scheme will see the demolition of the existing buildings located on the plots, and the comprehensive redevelopment of the site. Ruden Way will then become the home to six new houses boasting a traditional Tudor-style design with a modern, contemporary twist. The Tudor design style is one of the very few in history that has stood the test of time, and is still a revered style, having paved a new way for construction techniques in the 16th Century. AQUA architecture’s signature style includes taking a design and modernising it to maximise value.
All 160 square metre, five-bedroom houses are designed to maximise the space, aiming to create high quality, contemporary open plan spaces to showcase the natural lighting. Each house comes with a spacious driveway, a front and back garden and shared amenity spaces.
Commenting on the project, Alia Beyg, Founder and CEO of AQUA architecture said: “We’re really excited to get into the construction phase of this project. The new Ruden Way development will provide high quality standards of living, to be enjoyed by its future residents, and will replace the existing poor-quality space with new houses that comply with the current needs of the surrounding area.”
An extensive area analysis was conducted prior to submitting the proposal. Therefore, the dwellings have been designed to reflect the residential built form in the surrounding areas. The project is set to be under construction by the end of 2020.
