Designed to conceal structural steel or concrete supports our bespoke column casings provide specifiers with a choice materials and finish options to help improve project aesthetics.
Manufactured to meet exact project specifications, our range incorporates circular and square casings, which are manufactured from UKTR compliant MDF and plywood, respectively, together with aluminium and glass reinforced plastic (GRP) options, plus glass reinforced gypsum (GRG).
While the MDF, plywood and GRG casings are designed for use only on interior applications, both aluminium and GRP can be specified on both interior and exterior projects, as they are inherently corrosion and weather resistant. All types are manufactured to the specific project dimensions to ensure a high standard of fit and finish on site.
A wide choice of finishes is available, including PPC coatings in BS and RAL colours, as well as textured and embossed surfaces for the metal products. BS and RAL colour gel-coats can also be specified for GRP column casings.
For the MDF and plywood casings, durable high pressure laminate (HPL) finishing materials can be specified, while both types are also available with an unfinished, plain surface for decoration on-site if required.
GRG casings are also usually supplied unfinished for on-site decoration, and as they are produced using moulds, they can be manufactured to meet any individual project requirements or dimensions.
