The styrene-free, low odour formulation of both adhesives makes them more pleasant to work with than other similar products on the market. There’s no compromise on the quality in terms of application or durability, with both providing the robust performance that the chemical anchoring process demands.
Specialist adhesives like Everbuild Anchorset Green and Sika AnchorFix-1 offer a strong two-part process which is a reliable way to anchor metal fixings whether that’s a satellite dish mounting, gate hinge or balcony rail, to a concrete substrate securely without risk of the concrete cracking under the strain. The strong resin solution has been formulated to completely fill the hole around the stud making it fully airtight and waterproof, so it’s ideal for exterior projects where the fixing would be exposed to the elements including rain and extremes of temperature.
Everbuild’s Anchorset Green, which is available in both a 150ml and 300ml size, features an easy-to-use twin bag system operated by a standard sealant gun which makes it the perfect solution for builders of all skill levels. And as well as its styrene-free, low odour formulation which has been tested to meet LEED 2009 standards, it’s also quick to cure, can be used both inside and outside and is resistant to chemicals.
Like Anchorset Green, Sika AnchorFix-1 is a two-component chemical anchor adhesive distributed by Everbuild. Available as a single 300ml mix-in-the-nozzle cartridge for ease of application, it is a fast-curing adhesive suitable for standard applications with low to medium loads. Its methacrylate-based formula means it is also solvent and styrene free for a more pleasant working environment.
