AET Under-floor AirConditioning systems

Compared to conventional systems, AET Under-floor AirConditioning systems drastically reduce the need for the supply and installation of duct work (supply/extract), diffusers, BS boxes, valve sets, VCD’s, cable trays, containment, refrigerant, and refrigeration chilled/low pressure hot water pipework within the occupied office space.

Going “underfloor” eliminates, the embodied carbon created with the manufacture, transportation, installation, and maintenance of these traditional elements as well as relieving their strain on overall capital costs.

Sustainability is inherent to AET systems and is leveraged further during the CAT-B phase. Existing AET systems are simply and quickly reconfigured with minimal additions, shrinking plant and services:

  • Wastage and disposal
  • Replacement and install costs
  • Installation time frames

With a regular service and maintenance plan, AET CAM and Fantile units can provide comfort cooling for 25 years and beyond, outlasting a typical refrigerant system by almost double; halving end of life emissions for a comparable quantity of equipment.

When raising a new build, we liberate up to 600mm of height per storey typically occupied by ceiling-based services, compressing overall structure height and sparing hundreds of tonnes of concrete, steel, and glass.
