To celebrate its milestone 175th year, Newton Waterproofing, the UK’s leading independent suppliers of guaranteed waterproofing systems, has hosted two successful customer race days.
Welcoming dozens of its specialist contractors across the South and North of the UK, the race days were held at Kempton Park Racecourse in South-West London, and the Doncaster Racecourse in South Yorkshire.
Through the events, Newton also managed to successfully raise £225 for SNAPS Yorkshire, a Leeds-based charity that provides vital therapies to children with additional needs, including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, swimming lessons, football sessions, music lessons and more.
Newton Waterproofing Managing Director Warren Muschialli comments:
“Newton Waterproofing has a very long and rich history, and to reach 175 years is an incredible milestone for the company. From a small start-up business back in the 1840s, we’ve evolved into the UK’s leading independent waterproofing suppliers, and we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.
“Today, we supply an extensive range of high-quality products for all waterproofing applications, and have been involved in hundreds of high-profile waterproofing projects. We also provide extensive training on waterproofing best practice through our School of Waterproofing and have been running our award-winning Recycling Service since 2017.
“Another big milestone in our history came last year with the opening of our new Northern Branch and Distribution Centre in Leeds, giving our customers across the North quicker and easier access to our range of products and technical services. With a new home in Leeds, we were also proud to play our part in helping SNAPS Yorkshire, a local charity that does amazing work for children in need.
“We owe a huge thank you to all our partners and valued customers who have joined us over the years for their continued support, and we hope that all our specialist contractors had a wonderful time at our recent race day celebrations.”
