Meadfleet Wins Double at the International Green Apple Awards for Biodiversity and Open Space Management
Meadfleet, a leading sustainable land-adopting management company, has been recognised with two International Green Apple Environment Awards for its outstanding work supporting and enhancing biodiversity across its managed open spaces.
The prestigious awards, organised by The Green Organisation — an independent, non-profit group founded in 1994 — received over 700 entries from around the world this year. Meadfleet’s double win highlights the company’s dedication to sustainable land management, biodiversity net gain (BNG), and green estate management.
David King, Managing Director at Meadfleet said:
“We are thrilled to have our work recognised on such an international stage. These awards reflect the hard work of our team and our ongoing commitment to delivering thriving, biodiverse environments that benefit residents, communities, and wildlife alike.”
The awards ceremony will take place in November at the House of Lords, where Meadfleet will be formally presented with the accolades alongside other global sustainability leaders.
Through its innovative approach to open space adoption and integration of BNG principles across developments, Meadfleet relieves developers of future liabilities while creating sustainable, well-managed green spaces. This approach not only benefits local communities but also supports long-term biodiversity and environmental health.
This achievement comes shortly after Meadfleet’s success in reaching the finals of three categories at the 2025 SME National Business Awards to be held in November.
