New Redrow homes in both Leeds and Wakefield have been granted top accolades in a prestigious national award scheme.
Horsforth Vale, north west of Leeds, won a 5-star award in the Residential Development category of the UK Property Awards, going one better than last year’s Highly Commended.
And Nostell Fields in Crofton, south east of Wakefield, has taken home a ‘Highly Commended’ status in the Best House category for the ‘Sunningdale’ show home.
The four-bedroom detached Sunningdale is one of Redrow’s larger homes from its popular Heritage Collection of traditionally-styled homes with an Arts and Crafts influence.
Redrow customers Angela and Stephen Harrison purchased a Sunningdale at Nostell Fields earlier this year. Angela said:
“We fell in love with the show home, it was just so immaculately presented. It’s not hard to see how this style won this award, we can’t fault anything about it at all. It certainly ticked all of our boxes from the size of the rooms to practical features like the wet room. We love the exterior look and the double garage is a bonus too.”
A variety of four-bedroom detached homes are currently available at Nostell Fields. Those wishing to see what the judges liked so much can still view the fully-furnished and professionally styled Sunningdale show home.
At Horsforth Vale, in Horsforth, judges recognised how much Redrow’s stone-built Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection homes have transformed the former Clariant Works site and surrounding area. Since winning the award, a new range of contemporary and chic two and three-bedroom homes called Abode has also gone on sale. All of the homes enjoy a fabulous location virtually surrounded by countryside, despite being so close to Leeds city centre.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said:
“These awards are fantastic news for people who’ve already invested in Horsforth Vale or Nostell Fields or are thinking of doing so. They can be assured that they are purchasing a home at one of the UK’s best developments as well as having the choice of some of the best house styles around.”
The UK Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards, the world’s richest competition when measured by the value of the projects entered. A high-calibre jury of around 70 international experts judge the winning submissions.
