Turley strengthens Scottish planning team

Planning consultancy Turley has strengthened its Scottish planning team with the appointment of Blair Melville.

Blair joins Turley in Scotland on 17 August from Homes for Scotland, where he was its Head of Planning Strategy. He will be based in Edinburgh.

Homes for Scotland is the voice for the home building industry in Scotland representing some 200 companies and organisations that are responsible for 95 per cent of all the new homes built in Scotland. As its Head of Planning Strategy, Blair was responsible for all development plan and related policy matters, leading Homes for Scotland’s coordination of policy positions, submissions and evidence on housing plans, housing audits and local housing strategies.

Turley in Scotland is involved in many high profile projects including several within the West Edinburgh Strategic Development Area, Pollok Town Centre in Glasgow, India Buildings in Edinburgh and Blindwells New Settlement in East Lothian.
