TNQ shapes Corridor Of Change in Colindale

Today sees the launch of the latest development in Colindale; TNQ. Located just off the Edgeware Road –one of the four Corridors of Change- TNQ will introduce 460 new homes to become one of the area’s largest developments and is central to the council’s ambitious regeneration plan to provide 2,500 new homes.

Currently experiencing a surge of popularity amongst buyers, Colindale has welcomed several new build schemes in recent years as part of Brent council’s ambitious local Area Action Plan. Introduced in 2010, the pioneering plan aims to regenerate and boost the local economy, create a range of high quality public spaces, as well as increase and improve pedestrian and cycle routes connecting new developments to the surrounding area and ensure an integrated community.

Central to this regeneration, TNQ will deliver five striking buildings built around open green space and comprises a total of 460, one, two and three bedroom apartments and over 60,000 sq. ft. of retail and leisure space.

Labour party leader, Councillor Muhammed Butt, commented:

“Developments like TNQ are helping shape Colindale into a vibrant, successful, and diverse neighbourhood where people will want to live, work and visit. It is an example of the new high quality, sustainable developments that the borough welcomes to provide excellent new homes and exciting retail and leisure facilities. Through the council’s extensive regeneration plans and working with developers such as NEAT, Colindale will become a distinctive and successful place to live with its own unique identity.”

With the first phase of high specification apartments priced from £260,000, TNQ is set to bring modern property to life and offer buyers more than they expect. Created by innovative London developer, NEAT, in partnership with RLAM, each apartment offers the latest technology, with every home pre wired with fibre optic cabling to support broadband speeds up to 10 gigabits; 500 times today’s typical 20 megabits broadband.

Each apartment also features surround sound provision, under floor heating, LED lighting and integrated touch control kitchen appliances.

The development is also designed to ensure a stunning view for everyone. The ground floor apartments are elevated three stories – some 40ft – above street level, providing an outlook to some of London’s most iconic landmarks.

Managing director of NEAT developments, Joe Crawley, comments:

“At NEAT, we believe in driving up standards to offer buyers more than what is expected. When creating TNQ, we looked from the outside in to challenge, enhance and question what is possible – not just what is required.

“Brent council has set out some exciting regeneration plans for the area, which will transform Colindale and the surrounding communities over the next 10 years. Most excitingly, a wide range of community facilities will be introduced, including new schools and quality retail and leisure space. Working with RLAM, we have designed a bold and innovative development that supports these changes, but will also bring something new and unique to enhance the area.

“Colindale has a very exciting future and now is an ideal time to buy in the area.”

Working together with world-renowned interior designers, Manser Practice, every detail has been considered to create a modern and stylish living space. All apartments include modern fixtures and fittings throughout; custom-designed tiled bathrooms, contemporary high quality kitchens and a private balcony or terrace.

TNQ has a number of lifestyle extras which will appeal to professionals and young working families. Once complete, the 60,000 sq. ft. of retail and leisure space will include an on-site gym, secure-covered car and bicycle parking. Facing onto the elevated courtyard is a crèche, equipped with an adjacent private play area.
