The highs and lows of hospitality seating

Whether it’s enjoying pre-dinner drinks around a high table, relaxing in the hotel foyer, meeting clients, or savouring a latte with friends around the coffee table, high and low seated stools are now increasingly specified throughout all types of hospitality venues

Designed to fulfil a variety of spaces, Lyndon’s handcrafted Agent and Callisto collections of stools combine comfort with flexibility and are particularly useful for venues where space is at a premium. Whether it’s a high or low stool, each bears the infamous Lyndon guarantee of handcrafted luxury; bringing style and personality to any establishment. For added flexibility, they can easily be moved from one space to another, and for a powerful design impact, a combination of both high and low stools can be staged; offering differing heights at which to eat, drink or relax.

Agent stools: Alongside high tables and stools, Agent low stools are widely specified for more impromptu seating. Combining excellent design with functionality, the high stool features a generous scoop to the seat that both supports and cushions the user and top stitch detail adds further elegance, whilst the low stool boasts a CHMR foam seat for comfort.

Callisto stools: With its crisp contemporary lines, this collection of high stools delivers a cool retro vibe that is ideal for modern hotel and hospitality venues. Boasting CMHR foam and a webbed fibre seat with CMHR foam back, Callisto also boasts top stitch quilted detail that adds to its timeless appeal.

To complement interior design schemes, both collections are available in a choice of American Black Walnut and Oak. To create a striking design effect the seating frames may also be specified in any RAL colour and a wide array of fabric upholstery in a variety of colours for added design versatility. Both collections are also incredibly hard-wearing and of robust construction, making them ideal to withstand the daily rigours of the hospitality industry.

Commenting on these two collections, Managing Director at Lyndon, Tim Armitt, says:

“The stool is now a key part of the hospitality design scheme. Not only do our stools allow more functional and varied spaces to be created, they also present a high degree of flexibility. Having a sophisticated interior isn’t a necessary matter of luxury, but a matter of attention to every single detail. By adding stools to the mix, designers can bring something more to their interior decoration that traditional chairs don’t.”

To complement Agent high and low stools, the collection also features high tables, dining tables, benches and dining chairs. Meanwhile, the Callisto collection boasts dining chairs, armchairs, sofas and tables.
