A ‘topping-out’ ceremony was held last night at Schroder UK Real Estate Fund and Stanhope’s Ruskin Square development in Croydon, to celebrate the first office building reaching its highest point.
The landmark project, designed by shedkm, will be Croydon’s business community with 180,000 ft² of brand new office space over nine storeys as well as an 11,00 ft² restaurant and café area on the ground and first floors.
Commenting on the next phase of activity, Jason Margrave, Development Director at Stanhope Plc, said:
“With the first office building reaching its highest point and the final phase of works now underway, we are progressing at a good pace towards practical completion by the end of the year.”
The £2 million Ruskin Square development is adjacent to East Croydon Station and is set to offer 625 new homes and a new commercial space.
