NFB Awards 2015 winners celebrate

Construction companies and industry figures from across England and Wales gathered at the NFB Awards 2015 in London to celebrate outstanding contributions made to the built environment in 2014.

The National Federation of Builders (NFB) held its annual awards luncheon on Friday 22 May in association with NHBC. Hosted by former England and British Lions hooker, Brian Moore, the awards celebrate some of the best talent offered in construction.

Richard Beresford, Chief Executive of the National Federation of Builders, told the audience:

“I have been with the NFB for almost a year now. In that time, I have been consistently impressed with the quality of the work and the level of professionalism of our members. That feeling is echoed by local authorities we work with to try to make bidding for work a simpler, fairer process. That sense of quality ran across the entire field of entries this year, making the judging particularly difficult. The NFB is proud to represent you. It is that commitment to excellence that we are all here to celebrate today”.

Finalists were selected by an expert panel of adjudicators including Joscelyne Shaw, Acting Policy and Communications Director, British Safety Council; Vassos Chrysostomou, Improvement Counsellor for the Built Environment; Martyn Price MBE, apprenticeship ambassador; John Robinson and Mike Jones, Housing and Heritage experts respectively.

The NFB wishes to thank the NFB Awards 2015 sponsors:
British Safety Council, NFB Business & Skills, Croner, CSCS, Arthur J. Gallagher, Freeths, Union Square, CITB, Woodsford TradeBridge, the Yorkshire Builders Federation.
