New Vic Theatre gets new lease of life after extensive refurb

The New Vic Theatre has received a refurbishment and extension in a project funded by Arts Council England.

Novus Property Solutions carried out comprehensive works including a makeover of all public areas along with the theatre’s front of house area.

Further works also involved the remodelling of the theatre’s café bar and the addition of new seating in underused parts of the building.

The New Vic Theatre opened in 1983 in Newcastle-under-Lyme as the first purpose-built theatre-in-the-round in Europe.

The project was completed in four months.
