New specification tools from Knauf Marmorit

A brand new suite of literature, updated CAD details and Building Information Modelling (BIM) drawings are now available to download from the website of render and external wall insulation systems (EWI) manufacturer Knauf Marmorit.

The new literature system comprises 15 individual elements ranging from brochures and datasheets up to a comprehensive 45-page technical manual. It includes full colour brochures on the company’s Warm Wall EWI systems for new build and refurbishment applications, supported by individual datasheets detailing each of the four key system variants. The company’s render only solutions are outlined in an overview brochure which is supported by specific datasheets on Knauf Marmorit’s Regal Range of scratch renders, finishing coats, render equalisers and paints.

Supporting documentation includes a 28-page product selector backed up by datasheets describing the company’s sustainability, accreditations, technical support services and case studies of the use of products in a variety of sectors.

The company’s CAD library now includes some 89 detail drawings in DWG and PDF formats. It covers detailing for both the Warm Wall and render only systems applied to a variety of substrates including masonry, steel and timber frames including those for the Warm Wall Cavity Rail system.

A suite of BIM details illustrating the company’s Warm Wall Systems has been created for Knauf Marmorit in the most popular CAD formats by the NBS National BIM Library. These are available to download from the company’s website and are kept up-to-date by a syndication link to the National BIM Library.

Knauf Marmorit product manager Steve Webber commented:
