Seven contractors across the UK have been appointed to public sector procurement consortium LHC’s new framework arrangement for Timber Windows and Doors refurbishment works (TW3).
The selected contractors have been appointed through the tender process on a regional basis across England, Wales and Scotland, and include Arden Windows Ltd, CCG (Scotland) Ltd, Heron Bros Ltd, Janex Ltd, The New West Port Corporation Ltd, Sidey Ltd and Sovereign Group Ltd.
The TW3 framework, which was launched on 11 February, will help public sector bodies access best value, quality products for new projects. Alongside product choices, TW3 offers a technical support service including planning requirements, design advice and regulatory issues such as Building Regulations.
The new OJEU-compliant framework arrangement is available through two workstream options – supply and delivery (workstream one) and supply and installation (workstream two) – providing choice of quality, best value timber windows and doors.
John Skivington, director of LHC, said:
“We are pleased to have launched this new framework ensuring our customers have access to a wide range of high quality timber products at competitive prices.
“Users of the TW3 framework will also benefit from technical advice and ongoing project support offered by LHC.
“The interest from contractors across the UK was excellent. All bidders went through a robust evaluation process in line with EU regulations to identify those companies which were most suitable in each of the regions.”
