Nationwide recognised by CCS

Leading new build and public sector door and window supplier Nationwide Windows Ltd is delighted to be recognized once again for the quality of its work in conjunction with Nottingham City Homes, with a Bronze award at the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Site Awards.

Daryl Cashmore, Operations Director at Nationwide Windows explains:

“The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Site Awards are presented to construction sites, both large and small, that have raised the bar for considerate construction. Sites are recognized for their excellent standards of consideration towards their neighbours, their workforce and the environment. Together with Nottingham City Homes, we were thrilled to be rewarded by CCS, and very proud that this makes the fourth time we have been commended by the scheme – in particular as one of only very few window companies to do so.

“Sites are particularly celebrated for the high standards reached in the categories of Appearance, Good Neighbour, Respectful, Safety, Accountable, as well as in the categories of Considerate, Environment and Responsible. This means a lot to us as a company which prides itself on making a difference to the communities in which we live and work. We’re incredibly pleased for Nottingham City Homes on the double celebration alongside its 10th anniversary this year, and we have worked closely with the team there for six of those years from our dedicated depot in Nottingham. For us, this award is a fantastic demonstration that we can come to work in a customer’s community and show consideration when we do so, to the point that the project wins an award.”

Mike Petter, Chairman, Considerate Constructors Scheme comments:

“It is our privilege to reward the efforts of all those involved in projects which set the bar in terms of considerate construction. We never fail to be impressed each year by the high levels of innovation and excellence evidenced throughout the industry.

“Each award-winning project serves as a shining example to the industry as to what can be achieved across a range of different sized projects and in all sectors of the industry.”
