London team at Landmark Estates expands from new West End location

Landmark Estates, the residential and commercial property developer covering London and the South Coast, has announced its continued expansion with increased financial backing, the addition of two senior hires in the London team and a new West End office.

David Samson has joined as Head of Development for the London office. He has a wealth of property experience, specialising in complex planning issues, related planning and infrastructure agreements and land acquisition. Previously a director at another London developer, David comments:

“I am thrilled to have joined Landmark Estates. Thanks to a significant amount of new funding, we have some serious financial backing behind us and can make some real waves in the London property market.”

Looking after Landmark’s new funding will be Enam Rahman who joins the London team as Finance Director, previously from the Aitch Property Group, London. Enam will be responsible for restructuring Landmark Estates’ financial management, Treasury and Fiscal Management, Tax Strategy, Tax mitigation and reduction, financial restructuring, banking and investor relations, raising finance, structuring of JVs and property deals.

The announcement of the expansion of the team comes at the same time as the launch of the Landmark Estates chic new London office on Margaret Street, W1, which is a perfect base from which to reach all agents, investors and potential clients.

Landmark Estates burst onto the London residential development market around 18 months’ ago with the purchase of its first site, Chatfield Road in Battersea, which is due to start development in mid-September. Landmark is currently on the lookout for various new sites across London and is now in the position to purchase sites at a variety of price points.

Landmark is led by James Bradley, who took control of the business in 2007 from his architect father, Roger. The Landmark team also includes James Hemsley, who has been crucial to the company’s expansion into the capital.
