This September London’s leading design destination, designjunction2014, will bring a dedicated lighting show to the London Design Festival, the first in the city.
For the second year running, lightjunction will present the very best of global decorative lighting brands and this year will encompass the entire basement of the Sorting Office as well as reaching across parts of the first and second floors, organised in partnership with Cameron Peters Fine Lighting and supported by Megaman.
Venture down to the newly opened basement floor to discover the lightjunction hub. A large-scale installation from blackbody, created from thousands of suspended O-LEDs, will light the way down to the underground space. Once underground, don’t miss the latest addition to the show, Italian power brand Artemide, and Jake Dyson’s new Ariel light – a ground breaking suspension pendant which uses heat sync technology to extend the life of the LED. From the basement to the first and second floors lightjunction will present the very best of decorative lighting including: Anglepoise, Marset, Zero, Lightyears, Cini&Nils, Buster + Punch, Davey Lighting and Original BTC, Brokis, Vitamin, Örsjö and Rothschild & Bickers.
Within the lightjunction basement hub we will also launch ‘lightdating’ – a platform for like-minded professionals and lighting industry VIPs to meet and connect. lightjunction will bring together representatives from the world’s finest decorative lighting brands with the most influential interior designers and professionals through a schedule of one-to-one meetings.
