Landmark Estates, the residential and commercial property developer covering Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, has successfully achieved planning permission for two detached traditional chalet-style bungalows on Grove Road in Christchurch, Dorset.
The site is approximately 0.4 acres and is situated behind a current property on the road. Once built, the two properties will have traditional architecture, reflecting the local vernacular and both houses will have three bedrooms, two bathrooms and spacious, sensitively landscaped private gardens.
Iain Coates, Landmark Estates comments:
‘Each of the properties at the Grove Road site will have a quiet and secluded location, set back from the road. At Landmark Estates we have extensive experience of sites of this nature. In this particular occasion this site had been refused planning and dismissed at appeal. Through careful design and consultation we have been able to bring this site forward having recently secured our planning at appeal. This is a backland opportunity with the land set behind another property. We are having great success with these backland sites and would urge anyone who thinks their property could be developed in this way to get in touch with us as soon as possible. In the past twelve months we have secured planning on five side/backland sites.’
The project will start in June this year and will be completed early in the New Year. A London office was also opened in March last year as part of the company expansion and has recently acquired its first site in Battersea.
Landmark Estates consistently achieves planning permission for a variety of sites throughout the area from smaller ‘backland’ plots to large regeneration projects on the seafront. Always on the lookout for new sites, Landmark Estates would like anyone with a potential site to contact them right away, even if the property or site has been refused planning in the past.
