Crest Nicholson has signed a joint venture agreement with Kitewood to deliver Cossall View, a 122 apartment scheme located on the site of the former Tuke School off Woods Road in Peckham.
Kitewood Cossall, an SPV, acquired the site, which is adjacent to Cossall Park, from Southwark Council and a private vendor before obtaining planning consent in February of this year.
The 122 apartments in the development will include one, two and three bedroom apartments – of which 39 will be affordable homes – along with the restoration of a listed building. The apartments will be contemporary in design while staying true to the heritage of the site, using metric textured grey and beige bricks to complement the style of buildings in the local area.
The nearest station is Queens Road, Peckham where residents can reach London Bridge in only 10 minutes.
The Cossall View scheme is expected to be completed in 2017.
Commenting, Philip Van Reyk, Chief Executive at Kitewood, said:
“Our joint venture with Crest Nicholson enables us to see the development of another major project and enhances our portfolio.”
Trevor Selwyn, Managing Director at Crest Nicholson’s London division, said:
“Forming joint ventures like this enables the use of both parties’ respective skills in order to deliver a high quality product and provide us with a valuable source for land opportunities.”
