Players from Harborough Town Rovers Under Sevens are sporting new kits after teaming up with homebuilder Redrow.
The team have been playing football together since August. The youngsters play non-competitive football in the Leicestershire and District Mutual League.
Rovers Under Sevens manager Chris Brylka said:
“Having the sponsorship from Redrow means that all of the players wear a matching kit to matches, which helps the club to build up an ethos of inclusion because everyone is dressed the same. It also helps the children with their self-confidence because they feel part of a team and look professional. They are very proud of their new kit.”
The team’s home games are played at Harborough Town Football Club, just over a mile away from Redrow’s Rockingham View development.
Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said:
“We’re pleased to be able to offer home town support to Harborough Town Rovers Under Sevens. We hope they enjoy wearing their new kit and that they have a successful season.”
The homes at Rockingham View are in a league of their own, thanks to a winning combination of Arts & Crafts inspired architecture and high specification modern interiors.
